One of the first jet fighters to enter service with the USAAF in any numbers, the Sabre borrowed it's shape from the Me 262 when the American's evaluated the German aircraft after the war.
This example is sadly destined to go to America after the current UK airshow season.

That really is one smart looking jet, shame it's not staying in the UK.Very nice shots of it too.
